This month’s HOA Board meeting ended without setting a date for the next meeting. Based on the Board President’s stated preference for quarterly meetings, this likely means the next opportunity for member input may not occur until June.
A three-month gap between meetings significantly limits transparency, accountability, and the ability of Members to stay informed and engaged. If you share these concerns, you might make your voice heard by contacting the Board President directly at uphoa.bailey@gmail.com.
At the same time, CDD meetings continue to be held at 4:30 PM—despite overwhelming support from residents for a later start time such as 6:30 or 7:00 PM. Holding meetings during standard working hours effectively excludes many Members from participating.
If you believe meetings should be scheduled at times that allow broader community involvement, contact the CDD Chairperson at DBroyhill@universityplacecdd.org and express your position.
Active participation is the only way to ensure the community’s voice is not overlooked.
